![]() I configured and generated files with CMake yet again. I did this in case CB was corrupted during the sleeping incident. I uninstalled CB, ran a registry cleanup (with CCleaner), rebooted, and reinstalled and reconfigured CB to point to MinGW once more. I thought perhaps OGRE became corrupted during the sleeping incident, so I deleted the OGRE source files and reinstalled them and the dependencies, then reran CMake, and then CB. Without very many details (OS, compiler, etc.), it is difficult to say what the problem is however, one of the following wiki-pages may have the section of setup you missed (it is most likely a setup problem, not a hardware issue). #Codeblocks not building code#I configured via CMake and generated the files once more, after rebooting from the last crash. Re: Code Blocks v10.05 is not building or running my program. Sometimes it works and actually cleans and builds for some unknown reason, but not most of the time. It continues to freeze whether I click Clean, Build, Rebuild, or Clean and Rebuild (one button). codeblocks visualstudio Cprogramming compilerIn Code Blocks ,settings play a major role in executing and compiling the code. Nothing was happening after a few minutes, and Task Manager reported CB was "not responding," so I ended it and rebooted. Ask Question Asked 8 years, 6 months ago. My system and other programs remained responsive, so I let it go for a while, hoping it was simply cleaning a lot of stuff (even though I saw it clean before and take far less time). I launched Task Manager and ended the program, rebooted, then started up CB again and instructed it to Clean and Rebuild. Code::Blocks (henceforth CB) kept on compiling, however. I figured something would undoubtedly wind up screwy from this, and decided to cancel the build. Oddly, it resumed compiling after waking it up as if nothing had happened. While attending to a previous couple of problems, I woke my desktop from sleep mode because it went to sleep in the middle of compiling OGRE. I'm using the following "Toolchain Executables" (in the Global Compiler Settings in Code::Blocks all files from c:/mingw/bin): IDE: Code::Blocks 10.05 (compiler-less download)Ĭompiler: MinGW (latest version as of May 30th, 2011, not the one included with Code::Blocks). #Codeblocks not building pro#OS: Win 7 Pro 圆4, 8 GB RAM, tons of free hard disk space. Your help, as always, is much appreciated! I am really starting to lose it, as this is either the sixth or seventh week that I've been trying to get OGRE to finally build. I have to run Task Manager and end the unresponsive compiler. Project -> Build options -> Selected compiler, compile is Digital Mars After installing the program C::B I have not changed anything in the settings. Code::Blocks now stops responding when I tell it to clean, build, rebuild, or clean and rebuild OGRE. Digital Mars configuration in Settings -> Compiler -> Toolchain Executables, I checked and all the files exhibited what is necessary. Once selected, go to Installation -> Apply Changes. I've been having lots of problems trying to get OGRE to build. After that you have to select basic setup from the left list and mark all elements on the right list. ![]()
